Teledyne Inc. said yesterday that it had resolved four more military contracting disputes, three months after paying $112.5 million to settle charges it faked electronics tests and padded estimates.
Teledyne has agreed in principle to pay $11.3 million to settle three cases at its Teledyne Electronics unit and one at Teledyne Thermatics, the company said in its second-quarter earnings report.
The Government's allegations against Teledyne included delivering inferior "friend-or-foe" identification systems for weapons and planes; bribing Saudi and Egyptian officials; improperly shifting million of dollars in costs to Pentagon contracts, and violating test requirements for heat-resistant wiring for the military. |
