FAIRFAX, Va. --- ManTech International Corporation announced today that it has received a contract to support the U.S. Army in Iraq and Afghanistan. ManTech is a subcontractor to VSE Corporation, Alexandria, VA.
The competitively awarded contract, which has a base-year, and an option-year, has a total potential value under the prime contract in excess of $300 million over two years. Initial funding on the contract will be up to $30 million with expansion to occur based upon customer requirements. ManTech anticipates that support under this contract will incorporate services from existing contracts as well as additional support to new and existing customers.
ManTech will be the lead subcontractor to VSE and will provide a substantial level of the services ordered under the contract including deployed sustainment management; deployed logistics and repairs management; unique system training and curriculum support; and resource management, acquisition and administrative support for unique and specialized systems. These services will be provided in Southwest Asia - including Iraq and Afghanistan.
