Prince Feisal Bin Hussein of Jordan and State Secretary of Defence, Knaap von Vanochtend , have signed a Statement of Intent covering the sale of three Dutch F-16 fighters to Jordan.
The signature took place during the Dubai air show in the United Arab Emirates.
It covers three upgraded F-16B MLU two-seat aircraft which the Jordanian air power will use for training missions.
Deliveries are expected to take place by October 2006.
